Shake the can for a minimum of 2 minutes once the mixing ball is audible. Blend the edges of the existing paint using 220-grit sandpaper. Spray the rust encapsulator from a distance of 10-12 inches away from the surface. Individual coats will feel dry within 20 minutes and will be completely dry in 3-4 hours when at 68°F. For enhanced durability, you can apply a second coat one hour after the initial one. Wait 6-8 hours after the final coat before putting on a top coat.
